Folder not showing emails

Hi

This email is just for information in case its useful to someone, the problem has gone away again. The software version i am using is at the bottom of the email.

During the last week or so i occasionally click on a folder and no emails are displayed (not always the same folder), this usually eventually works after logging off or doing a fsck/vacuum/stop/start but its not a solution that gives consistent results. 

Sometimes when i do a akonadictl stop, it does not display any messages showing the agents stopping and it doesn't always stop.

This morning, the "stop" worked showing all the agents stopping, so i started again then ran kmail from the cli.
I clicked on todays problem folder (still an empty display) and this message popped up on the cli:

I then closed kmail and went to make a coffee and when i got back these messages were displayed:
