I did not really find a nice approach, but: % ls -1 | xargs -n1 konsolekalendar --calendar 446 --import worked good enough for me. Moved orphan items to collection 456 However this could also be due to me removing the original ical dir resource and adding a new one with the same directory to see whether that works. Reported as Bug 494249 - Does not pick up existing files inside a calendar directory when switching database or adding the resource with an existing directory https://bugs.kde.org/494249 as I think icaldir resource should behave the same as maildir or contacts resource.
