KMail not sending mail anymore

Dear list,


Since yesterday evening, KMail won't send any mails for me anymore. I'm using version 24.08.1 and nothing changed in my software setup since before the problems started. I can compose the email, then instruct it to send (Ctrl-Enter), and then nothing happens. The mail just stays in the local mailbox outbox. Also when I then reselect it there and try to send it again, it doesn't do anything. I also do not get any error dialog or so. Neither the SMTP server nor the EWS account work, so I assume it is somewhere earlier in the pipeline.

I've tried restarting akonadi, akonadictl fsck, rebooting, restarting the mail dispatcher agent. None of these things work. In my logs, every time I try, I see lines of the form

Such lines are there also sometimes without me trying to send, but requesting a send triggers them for sure. Also in the logs nearby those lines are lines like

Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem and how I can fix it or work around it?
