PMD antlet questions

Hi,

I'd like to generate xdocs using pmd that will be rendered to html by forrest. My question is where to copy the resulting pmd.xml (docbook) so that forrest will pick it up.

Furthermore, if PMD doesn't report anything i am stuck with an empty xml file that is not valid xml. How to resolve this?
