I think what you need to do is to write two types of tutorials. One where a team has the luxury of being able to start from scratch. Show them why the extra effort of learning Centipede will pay off. Then you need another tutorial which you base upon an existing ant file, where you show a step by step refactoring to Centipede, and why it also would pay off. I think it must be a step by step tutorial, in true refactoring fashion, where the whole script is working after each consecutive step, so that a gradual conversion is possible. Otherwise you would have to rewrite it all over a weekend, which isn't overly appetizing. I know ant fairly well, so I'm a good potential customer of such a tutorial, so please send it over to me, if you write it, and have it ready for review!
