PNG Question

On the examples page of Barcode

There are .png files of the barcodes. My question is
as to whether or not the functionality in
Krysalis-Barcode natively supported that conversion.

I know that I can use Batik to transform the files,
but that has a pretty heavy footprint just to convert
the xml fragment to a bitmapped graphic.
