prompt command bug

Hi everybody

I have completed the conversion of my 1986 insurance application to 
opensource using postgresql and aubit4gl. It has taken a distressingly 
long time particularly the C stuff which I had used to implement a 
calculator which allowed users to enter formulas to calculate relevant 
values and plug them into relevant tables. A lot of my time was spent 
quietening down the compilers by adding function prototypes and stuff 
which not enforced in 1986!

Any the good news from my point of view is that, after I had replaced 
SUSE with Ubuntu the aubit stuff all seems to work properly now.

I haven't had time to investigate the problem whether ncurses or 
terminfo related but I fear that the problem will show up eventually on 
Ubuntu as well. - So be prepared.

I will be leaving with my wife in a week's time to cruise in the 
northern hemisphere and after that tour Ireland looking up places our 
ancestors left from in the 1850s
