Due to my limited knowledge it is a quirk of mine that I prefer 'clean'
compiler/make output to obscure warnings about things that may, or may not, be
significant.  And I am not 'using aubit directly' the Makefile in tools/test
is.

A work around that clears this for me has been applied locally and a copy of
the trivial patch forwarded to you if you deem it appropriate to include it.
