By default the database will be created without logging unless you specify with the dbimport -l command flag. You must turn on logging with ontape or onbar. Brian Grellinger I.S. Now this worked a treat and the dbimport completed successfully now whenever I go in to a section of the program I am writing that uses BEGIN WORK so i.e. trys to enter a transaction it throws me out with the following error. "Transaction Not Available" Would anyone be able to tell me why it is doing this, it has only been since I got rid of the dev database and replaced it with a refreshed version from the live database.
