Hi Scott!
If you are using SE go to dbaccess and execute
start database <dbname> with log in "<log_file_path_and_name>"
If you are using IDS type one of the following command on your shell
a) for unbuffered logging
ontape -s -L0 -U <dbname>
b) for ansi_logging
ontape -s -L0 -A <dbanme>
Regards
Nuno

Hi There,
A little while ago i placed help request on the mailing list in regards to a dbimport problem I was having basically it would bottle out half way through the import saying constraint already exists then referencing to which contraint it exactly was now, what I did was to get rid of the contraints that were causing the dbimport to fail. Now this worked a treat and the dbimport completed successfully now whenever I go in to a section of the program I am writing that uses BEGIN WORK so i.e. trys to enter a transaction it throws me out with the following error.
"Transaction Not Available"
Would anyone be able to tell me why it is doing this, it has only been since I got rid of the dev database and replaced it with a refreshed version from the live database.
Many Thanks,
Scott Edwards
