Georg,

 

There is a genero-customers mailing list where this problem has been
discussed many times and you're certainly not the first to come across it.
Contact 4js support for details on how to belong.  Its a lot busier than
this list, over 10 posts a day on average last year.  Unfortunately its not
publically archived or searchable :-(

 

Anyway the best solution to your problem and the one I use to bring a folder
page to the top is to do the following ...

 

- hide all the folder pages except the one that you want on top

- CALL ui.Interface.Refresh()   

- unhide the folder pages you hid in step 1

 

 

However having said all that and read your problem again, based on the
global variable don't you want to execute the INPUT ARRAY if the user was in
the INPUT ARRAY the last time?

 

CASE page

   WHEN 1 NEXT FIELD fieldonpage1

   WHEN 2 NEXT FIELD fieldonpage2

   WHEN 3 NEXT FIELD fieldonpage3

   WHEN 4 CALL input_array_function()

END CASE

perhaps can anybody help me with a special Folder-Problem:

 

I use a Folder with 4 Pages, Page 1 to 3 belongs to 'INPUT BY NAME',

in Page 4 is only a Table for 'INPUT ARRAY'.

(The INPUT ARRAY will be triggered from ON KEY in the INPUT statement).

 

it looks similar like this (but righted of course):

All looks fine and works very well, but the users are never satisfied.

 

They wish, that the Program remembers the Page when the

user leaves the 'INPUT BY NAME' and goes to the same Page,

when he/she will go into the INPUT again.

 

I do this with 'ON ACTION page2' and store the Page-number into

a global variable. When the user enters the Input again I use a

'NEXT Field' Statement to jump to field 1 or field20 or field 30.

This works fine for Page1 to Page3.

 

But the problem is: in the page 4 are no fields to jump to.

I was trying a invisible field, (and hidden), but then nothing

goes the right way.

 

The only thing I wish is a clear statement, which says the

Genero: 'show page 4' immediately!

(to use it after the INPUT ARRAY, because now jumps

the program immediately after the INPUT ARRAY to

another page)

 

Is there any idea in this universe to help me ?

In the manual I couldn't find any help to this special problem
