Try the hide command. This should do the trick for you. 
e.g
            HIDE OPTION gaMenu[CInsert].mCommand 
            HIDE OPTION gaMenu[CDelete].mCommand 
            HIDE OPTION gaMenu[CUpdate].mCommand
