RE: hide a key in before field clause of input statement

Hide option should be part of menu

The screen looks like below.

I want to hide the ">" button in one field and activate in the other
field

Hi Sunil 

Try the hide command. This should do the trick for you. 
e.g
           HIDE OPTION gaMenu[CInsert].mCommand 
           HIDE OPTION gaMenu[CDelete].mCommand 
            HIDE OPTION gaMenu[CUpdate].mCommand
