I'll assume you already checked to see that the same versions of Java were
loaded and the Java group and all the PTFS are at the same level?

You've checked to be sure you are invoking the correct Java version?
(Classpath?) 

IBM i has a packet filter (not really a firewall) but I will assume it's not
being used because outside of myself and a dozen other folks, I don't know
anyone who would set it up.  You might check (use Navigator for that) to see
if there are any directives in there but it's highly doubtful. 

My guess is PTFs/Java versions are different.

i'm new in this forum and i new in Java; i have installed a program in our
Ibm i and it works fine. I have installed the same program in another Ibm i

it seem that when the Java program try to open/read a Ibm i file (PF-DTA) go
on error ...


possible caused from authorization  or some Ibm i Firewall ??
