(Yee-hah) So, IBM had our systems manager install the latest SQL product PTFs over the weekend in the hopes it would fix my problem. It didn't. There were two PTFs applied in the QSQL library: SI15474 (temp applied) & SI08966 (perm applied), plus a slew of MF* PTFs which may or may not have been directly tied to the SQL problem (I saw a few for Service Director). I think your SQL session is gone. You may have to delete the session > object to allow ISQL to start functioning again. How do I delete the session object? I'm not even seeing the screen that lets me choose between recovering or discarding the session anymore. On one of my other lesser-used profiles, I was able to use ISQL for a few days before it, too, started crashing. I tried the "discard" option once, and it didn't help. The word I received was that, if this PTF didn't fix things, that IBM wanted us to do a trace on the failure and report it to them.
