Hi everybody. As we know, some programs (like UNDELCB & UNDELM from WRKDBF tool or CHGPWDTMC & RVSETUP from GOFASTER) had been 'patched' to be *SYSTEM state programs, but I don't know how the 'patch' was done to cheat RSTxxx commands and avoid that i5/OS change program state back to *USER. I tested to 'patch' one of my MI programs, save it and then restore it, but the program state is changed back to *USER. I tried saving the patched program with QSCMATPG and then restoring it with QSCCRTPG, but program's state is changed back to *USER too. Anyone knows how to change program state permanently and avoid that i5/OS know that the program had been patched ? May be exist some undocumented API or program in QSYS to do it. Leif, I'm sure that you know the answer.
