     Yes and no. No, because a complete rewrite of JCL/JVCL would be 
necessary and therefore take lots of time. In addition, many parts in 
JCL have no usage in the .NET world. The JCL team is not going to port 
to .NET, thus JVCL won't either.

     Yes because a JEDI.NET project has been started 
(http://jedidotnet.sf.net) with the single goal of collecting/writing 
classes, components and controls for .NET written in Delphi.

     At the moment, the project is not focusing on any specific part 
(ie. classes only, WinForm controls or VCL.NET control), though 
currently only WinForms and FCL code has been donated. Any donated 
VCL.NET control that also exists in JVCL is strongly recommended to use 
the same component interface (property/method/event names).

> How far is it?

     Early alpha state (no release yet, only CVS and daily zips).
