Dear Sir, If you are interested I also found a lot of differences between Win and Clx concerning bitmaps: monochrome, copyrect, stretch, autosize etc. Code which works for one OS does strange things in the other. I found some work arounds by looking at the source code (eg. for copyrect). In Linux I had a lot of trouble creating and initialising a black and white bitmap at run time whereas a colour bitmap worked fine!!!
