Thank you all for the interest, anyway, after few tries I've seen that: UNDER WINDOWS: BitBlt procedure with the various cm_ modes -> fast, OK Canvas.CopyMode together with Canvas.CopyRect -> blooody sloooow UNDER LINUX: BitBlt procedure with the various cm_ modes -> doesn't exist Canvas.CopyMode together with Canvas.CopyRect -> fast, OK So that I must use conditional defines to maintain sw portability...
