console input

Dear sirs,

I'm migrating a DOS console application. No problem in changing colors, 
clearing screen, setting cursor position and all this stuff. The problem 
arises getting a keystroke... Getting the input seems to react only after 
ENTER has been pressed, while I need to capture the single keys.

Any clue?
