Hi,

i had the same problem with Kylix 2 Prof. (freezing Prog. if i want to
browse files/dirs). I found out, that this is not a bug of Kylix. It was a bug in
my KDE (don't know the exact version, 2.x.x, shipped with mandrake 8.2
ProSuite). Same problem also occoured while using othe X-Apps, but not as often as
with kylix. SO, i upgraded KDE and everythings works just fine.
