Thanks for the reply. I've built a data logger for my racing kart, it 
records lap times and W & Y G forces. We then downloads via RS232 for 
processing. This is where I need some help. At the moment I download 
it via Hyperterm, open it in excel, average the first 20 samples (to 
provide a stationary bench mark) then subtract the average from the 
data stream to show variations. Then graph the results to show 
changes we make between session. This part of the software could be 
as complex as time allows. I have lots of ideas on what we what from 
it!
The samples are 10hz.
 
That should be enough for you to think about! I have more ideas if 
you want.....
