Hello all, I'm developing an application and it's going along fine. I have rather strange question that you don't often see around here. I'm working on an IDE (http://basic-ide.sf.net) that has a rather OO design. For the project, we've got an object called TProject, with a TDocuments (which holds info about files that are currently open), and a TFiles (which holds info about all the files in the project) etc etc. It's the TDocuments I'm having problems with. TDocuments is a collection of TDocument, which is an object with contains info of each individual file, such as file name and type etc. Here's the problem. For the code editor, we're using an array of code editor components (a custom component similar to that of the TMemo). Since the TDocuments hold all sorts of files, such as source, form and others, we don't know what the correct index of the code editor is. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the correct index? Thanks! --Taj -- "My software never has bugs, it just develops random features." ------------------------ Yahoo!
