Hi Mike! --- Mike <[email protected]> wrote: > If there is no default printer set on my computer I get an access > violation from the previewer when I try to close it ( after clicking > print ). Is there anyway to check this while in the preview? I am surprised you can preview a report without a default printer let alone try to print (on paper)!! I don't know of any way to do this unless you create your own preview. Lookup 'TQRPreview' in the QR help file for an example. If I were you and were conecerned about this, I would create a generic routine to call prior to running any QR reports that would get the default printer. If it failed then I would notify the user about the problem and stop the process. Hope this helps, ===== Tom Nesler Live Long...Code Well... and Prosper!
