Windows2000 and networkprinter

using qreport on a win2k machine with a networkprinter gives an 
accessviolation when the printer is on line, or sometimes the 
preview window shows only a few lines of the report. Using 
report.print instead of report.preview helps but NOT when the 
printer is off line. Then the exe file does not start at all.
Anybody any ideas? TIA Gert Busser
