The best that I can suggest is that the application has to log into the the network server. The location of the data will have to be mapped to a local drive on the client PC. One problem that you will have to deal with is that when a dBase file is opened, all of the records are read. If the DBF is very large and the client PC has a slow connection, this will make it very difficult to get quick responses to user actions.
