I am new to Dylan, not to unix, but not very knowledgeable on that. So, I am a user programmer, not a hacker. After installation on my Mac, I tried to run the "Hello World" example. It failed (used fish as shell): jan@mba-jc /A/M/E/l/g/spec> set -x PATH $PATH ~/opt/opendylan-2013.1/bin jan@mba-jc /A/M/E/l/g/spec> dylan-compiler -build hello-world dyld: Symbol not found: __tlv_bootstrap Referenced from: /Users/jan/opt/opendylan-2013.1/bin/../lib//libdylan.dylib Expected in: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib in /Users/jan/opt/opendylan-2013.1/bin/../lib//libdylan.dylib fish: Job 1, 'dylan-compiler -build hello-world' terminated by signal SIGTRAP (Trace or breakpoint trap) Because there was mention of lion as a requirement of the latest version, I downloaded 2012.1. Same result. What can I do? Jan Carpay _______________________________________________ hackers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.opendylan.org/mailman/listinfo/hackers
