A couple of options:

1) Update to Lion or Mountain Lion.
2) Install Linux in a VM (like Virtual Box or VMWare) and use the Linux
build for now.
3) If neither of the above, I can look and see what is involved in doing a
build for Snow Leopard, but no guarantees.
