2011.1 works for me on SL (it requires installation on /opt, ~/opt does not work), so don't take the trouble for me to make later versions work for me. At the moment I will require things from Dylan that are not supported in 2011, my computer will be old and I will be running Maverics or later. I hope. The described procedure for the first run of Hello World (for 2012.1) is not correct for 2011.1. There is no .lid file and the user directory is not in ./_build but in ~/open-dylan. I did not call make-dylan-app. I can list what I did if that is relevant. In order to look at what I miss sticking with 2011.1, I looked through the release notes at github, but discovered later that they are also on opendylan.org/documentation (though not for 2013.2). But there is no link to them at the documentation page, it would be good if there was, and one on the download page. I may give it a try. The issue is that our threading support needs something that isn't available in a fast way on Snow Leopard, hence requiring Lion or later. > > - Bruce _______________________________________________ hackers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.opendylan.org/mailman/listinfo/hackers
