Hello all,

As hannes and andreas know, I've taken an interest in the packetizer
library from Network Night Vision. It is described in this paper:

    http://opendylan.org/~hannes/ilc07-final.pdf

I'm separating it out into a stand-alone library and figured I'd ask if
anyone had a good name for it. Possibly contenders now are:

   - binary-data
   - binary-data-storage
   - binary-storage

In the long run, I hope to get this cleaned up some, documented, improve
the test coverage and perhaps we can distribute it alongside Open Dylan
like we do with some other libraries.

In the short term, I'll be using it for an implementation of the binary
protocol for Cassandra, http://cassandra.apache.org/.

I'm pretty excited about being able to use this library more broadly!

 - Bruce
