I'm completely aware of that. What I'm saying is that, at the very least, there needs to be a decent introduction to these tools. Beyond that -- if someone has time to do it -- it would be great if there was a nice GUI front end, which would assist most beginners and would be of ongoing benefit to many experienced users. As further testimony to my point that the tools need a decent, prominently-displayed introductory paragraph or two, consider this: I still do not know why I would use geant. I have managed to figure out what gexace is for, but I can't think of why I would use an obscure tool like geant rather than a well known tool like, say, a shell script.
