I was not replying to you in particular (I'm sorry, I should not have quoted one of your messages), but to those in this mailing list and elsewhere who are complaining that Gobo does not compile as is with ECMA Eiffel, and to people who want me to make it clear which fork of the Eiffel language Gobo will follow in the future. Most of these people claim that ECMA Eiffel is a fork and SmartEiffel is not. Now, even if ECMA Eiffel had no single backward incompatibility there is no doubt that SmartEiffel would not support it anyway.
