Of cause it would be great, if we could construct a second backend for EDC in ESE. Yes, once upon a time there probably will be a gda backend which could handle postgres, too, but I think more direct wrappers will save a dependency (and gda is quite heavy, if I'm right). For further discussion, I think we should switch to ese-devel list for ongoing discussion about where/how to integrate. Rapha
