Thanks. I'll try it out when I find some simple erlang code. >I am also using Semantic, and am very pleased with it. Yes, that long pause was one of my priorities early in the semantic 2.0 development cycle. We now have a more robust and clever incremental parser which prevents many of those long pauses with nice fast incremental mini-parses. >Combining Semantic with Distel seems like a great idea! If you are looking to get use more features of semantic with erlang we can give you a hand on our cedet-semantic mailing list: http://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=17886 >From what little I've seen of erlang, the code is exposed to the semantic parser. You would probably greatly benefit from either the new lexer API which could be modified to encapsulate code inside a virtual block so you can skip parsing it. You could also benefit from the new wisent parser, which is a bison port. It is much more efficient at parsing code than the old LL parser. As far as the various semantic based tools, I am not familiar enough with Erlang to know which of them is useful. Thanks, and have fun.
