I did find the definition for C@+ defined in the Dutch version of the file. Lol now I read Dutch. well, not really. As you prob'ly know, the comment about the possibility of the mis-type was my own as I read over the file, changing things. The ASCII->BINARY word also has a different definition in the Dutch version, making the ANS version suspect yet again. It's defined in the Dutch as: : ASCII->BINARY &0 - U->D : where U->D is actually the U>D that you defined for me earlier. Makeing these changes to the original file only crashes the win32forth system, which means to me that there is something fundamentally wrong with this algorithm in it's current form in this file. As you may or may not know, I'd like to try a version of this for Project Euler 3, using colorforth. I'm nearly finished with the Floating point version. I'd eventually like to test this against that, also in colorforth. What I'm getting at is I may abandon trying to fix this file and just take the idea to colorforth. Maybe that will help me understand how this file is actually supposed to work. Thank you so much for your input and your interest. ALSO! I've been meaning to say... Glad to see you on this list. I don't think I've seen you say anything here since I joined 5 or 6 years ago now. But I think I recall you earlier in the list when I read back some. I am only a little familure with your own work, a mistake I will correct very soon but... Your CARDIAC has inspired my own "UMN folE-Ndar " ( concatenation of folding and calendar and pronounced Human Folly ender. ) The UMN is the way the 3 peices of paper are folded to make this organizer that can actually work like a computer because it can loop and branch. Even the letters FolE-Ndar spells out Folendar Organizing Life Electronic Newsletter Detailing Achiveable Results. Though I don't know all of the specifics of CARDIAC ( great name! ) ( this I will also correct when I watch your movie about it again before I sleep tonight) the fact that you made a paper computer inspired me to make my 3-page organizer system into a computer as well.
