Re the Q: Has upgrading GHC in the past year broken your code?, I answered No. I was disappointed there was no opportunity for a follow-up to explain:

Because I haven't tried to upgrade: the risk of breaking something exceeds any 'benefit' from new 'features', none of which do I want to use.
