hugs on windows

hello,
this is not a bug report, but more of a request.
it seems that the binary distribution for windows is 8.5Mb,
which seems huge.  would it be possible to get a smaller (binary) version
for windows?  maybe without the GUI stuff etc?
i know that in these days of fast networking that is not much
of an issue but i only have a 28.8 internet connection at home.
