SQLite

Ok, CVS just crashed and burned, but I think it successfully commited the new 
version of the SQLite module. Also some new documentation and a few small 
fixes to makefiles. I hope I haven't screwed anything up with the version of 
automake I have... :-/.

Apologies for the delay. I think this release should work better than the last 
(and I think I've incorporated all your improvements Doug), and it actually 
has a self test now. Let me know if there are any problems.
