Re: 5.1 package proposal and Kepler libs

As a side note (to ack that I've read most of the thread):  LuaX will 
move to the New Require(tm) thing once Lua 5.1 is official.  There's no 
internal need for it, and the move will only be in order to allow 
easier 'plug-in' placeability of New Require modules, once they are 
introduced.

I will probably test drive with LuaSocket, since it's already in LuaX 
but integrated in a rather ..hmm.. manual way. Would be nice to be able 
to leverage it as the unmodified package per se.

But, this is not at the top of my agenda.
