MacOS X hints

Regarding the mails that arrived from the list thse days:

Of course, I have updated automake to 1.7, as the one
included with Panther refused to work. Now with 1.7 
everything seems to be OK. I have also updated to the
last releases of libtool and autoconf (don't remember
exact versions right now). Updating libtool is quite
interesting is it has some bugfixes related to dynamic
library linking under OSX.

I promise to add details of the build environment that
I'm using under OSX in the README.MacOSX file as soon
as possible, in order to make things clearer.
