What does everyone think MOO should use for storing programs when it does n=
ot=20
use a database (human readable)?
My own opinion is to have simply something like this:
/* Example of a MOO program w/o a database */
myobj=3Dcreate(#-1);
add_verb(myobj, "main");
.program myobj:main
player:tell("hello world. My OID is ",#myobj);
.
return myobj;
Basicly, the file would be executed/interpreted and then the verb 'main' on=
=20
the returned object would be run. Alternatively, one could simply include=20
"myobj:main();" at the end instead of using a return value.
Any other ideas for this?
