I've found that I actually prefer minigolfs. TPR would just eat up the
whole week (I carefully scheduled my summer vacation so that I could
get the maximum amount of golf-time in for TPR0,4c). With the
seemingly[*] less competitive culture around the minigolfs, it's a lot
easier to stop wasting time once the law of diminishing returns has
kicked in.
Of course, if some bastard decides to run a "real" golf, I'll have no
option but to once again spend ridiculous amounts of time on it. :-)

[*] I have no idea of what goes on in #perlgolf. But from my viewpoint
the culture around the minigolfs seems much more relaxed than that
around the TPRs.
