No.  It was not.  It was intended that I had more time to implement
"update" everywhere... but... I do lack time, sorry. Feel free to
contribute ;-)

Think in terms of the modules "internal interfaces", which cannot be
sufficiently hidden in Perl5...  The availability and interface to
these methods will not be guaranteed.
