After posting the reply= , I did a Google search for the error message you were getting and did find= one or two references which seemed to be Mac-specific. So try searching f= or the error message and see what you find out. If you don't get any furthe= r, let me know and I'll email you some working code to see if you can get i= t working on your setup. However, on the database issue, the advantage is that you can see your unic= ode text in the database rather than having to mess around with unicode cha= racters in your code. And there are one or two tricks which you can use to= ensure that the unicode characters will be correctly interpreted by your s= cript.
