I guess robust is the wrong word...basically, "complete and
centralized" is what I'm looking for. Thus far, the widget
collections seem to be scattered all over and of varying quality,
which creates a significant hurdle/nuisance for experienced
pTk, but newbie Tcl/Tk users, trying to find interesting widgets
(e.g., the very nice tabbed notebook at BLT you mentioned). When
I need a pTk widget, a little time at search.cpan.org can usually 
surface what I need (with some exceptions, eg, my recent search for 
Tk::CanvasRottext).

As I mentioned, I had googled & surfed around to a few of the
collections, but didn't know about BLT until you mentioned it.
Undoubtedly, there are other gems out there. A CPAN equivalent
for Tcl/Tk would certainly ease the transition.
