I've tested on WinXP, AS 5.8.3, Tk804.027 + patches,
and on Linux (Fedora Core 2, Perl 5.8.5, Tk804.027 wo/ patches);
I'd appreciate hearing of other platform tests; its pure perl,
so hopefully testing should be painless.
