This is very sad news.

Nick's work on Tk speaks for itself, but not too many people know his impact on Perl as a whole. He was one of the major contributors to Perl, and was even the pumpking of one of the releases. His contributions will definitely be missed by the whole Perl community.

RIP Nick. Sincerest condolensces to his family.
