Uncaught exceptions in Start and End handlers do not strike me as
something common and where that happens it is likely a bug and it
is not clear to me that keeping to catch the exceptions would be
best for such applications. But you could make an updated version
that warns whenever an exception is swallowed, and you could make
not-swallowing an opt-in behavior.
