I'm sorry about that.
I hate special characters added to identifiers, inserted
into literals, used as delimiters for constructs {},
I even dislike modifiers like r" and u", although these
are bearable.
My early days are type writers, and all these characters made an
awful noise, when they had to move the whole typistry up upon
shift being pressed. Therefore I'm also almost in favor
of under_score_naming, CaMelStYle is just too much noise :-)
Seriously, special chars appended to names reminds me very much
of Perl, which I still think is a poor design. Everything that
partially looks like it (Ruby) pisses me off.
For me, special chars are good for operators, and vice versa:
They should notify me that there *is* an operator.
Note this is a completely personal matter of taste, and it just
defines which language I will personally use or not.
