Re: Squeak Oversight Board Election 2026

Hi all!

      I'd like to serve on the Squeak board this year.

      I'm amazed at what a powerful vehicle Squeak has become for 
discovering new realms in computer science. Over the last few years, 
I've used it to explore spatial computing, WebAssembly, compilation, and 
machine learning. With what I've learned, I'd like to help the community 
bring this vehicle to many more curious minds.

      I started Smalltalking while studying music composition at the 
University of California at Berkeley, and I've had livecoding stints at 
ParcPlace, Atari Games, and the IBM Watson Research Center. I've been a 
Squeaker since day one.

      I would love for Squeak to become more dynamic in the way we 
collaborate. We can bring the liveness we each experience individually 
to group development, going beyond the static files of Monticello and 
GitHub. I've built some things for this, too. :)

      I'm always happy to discuss community plans. You can find me on 
the California Smalltalkers Discord server[1], where I'm often available 
to chat in real-time on audio and video. Let's become: something fun!
